Different countries have varying regulatory requirements, which can make it cumbersome for manufacturers to introduce their products globally. Compliance with the stringent regulations of various markets can be time-consuming and costly, hampering market expansion. Regulatory changes and updates can also pose challenges to existing products and require companies to adapt swiftly.
Cost Constraints
While wound contact layer dressings offer substantial benefits in terms of wound healing and patient comfort, they tend to be costlier than traditional wound dressings. This can limit their adoption, especially in resource-constrained healthcare settings.
