India Recovered Carbon Black Market Research Report by Application [Tires, Non-Tire Rubber Products (Hoses, Belts, Gaskets, Seals, Others), Plastics, Inks & Coatings, Others], by End-Use Industry (Automotive, Industrial Manufacturing, Building & Construction, Packaging, Electrical & Electronics, Others), and by Region (North India, West India, South India, East India, Northeast India) Forecast till 2035

Market Report I 2026-01-14 I 180 Pages I Market Research Future

With accelerating circular economy initiatives and increasing industrial adoption, the India Recovered Carbon Black Market is anticipated to grow at a CAGR of 14.3%, reaching USD 72,561.4 thousand by 2035. Recovered Carbon Black (rCB) is a sustainable material produced through the pyrolysis of end-of-life tires and rubber waste, where high heat in an oxygen-free environment converts the rubber into gases, oils, and a carbon-rich solid residue.

Rising End-of-Life Tire (ELT) Volumes Fueling rCB Demand
India's massive tire production base exceeding 217 million units annually is directly expanding the country's end-of-life tire (ELT) pool, creating abundant feedstock for recovered carbon black (rCB) manufacturing. This consistent rise in ELT generation acts as the primary growth engine for the India Recovered Carbon Black Market by ensuring long-term raw material availability.

Market Segmentation Overview
By Application:
- Tires - Sustainable alternative in tire compounding
- Non-Tire Rubber Products - Reinforces molded rubber components
- Plastics - Cost-effective carbon filler solution
- Inks & Coatings - Enhances color depth stability
- Others - Specialized performance-driven applications
By End-Use Industry:
- Automotive - Core demand-generating industry
- Industrial Manufacturing - Rubber-intensive production sector
- Building & Construction - Infrastructure sealing applications
- Packaging - Reinforced plastic packaging solutions
- Electrical & Electronics - Anti-static conductive materials
- Others - Diverse cross-industry applications

Strategic Capacity Expansion (October 2024)
Hi-Green Carbon Ltd, is even building a new factory in Madhya Pradesh to make more of this material. By 2025, they expect to be able to process 300 tons of old tires every day, which will help India make more of its own recovered carbon black. Scheduled for completion by end-2025, the plant will scale total ELT processing capacity to approximately 300 TPD, strengthening domestic production capabilities.

Carbon Reduction and Cost Stability Advantage
The growth of the recovered carbon black market in India is also driven by the need for low-carbon and cost-efficient raw materials. The volatility of crude oil prices is a big concern for many companies, and using recovered carbon black can help them avoid this problem. By working together and using this new material, companies can reduce their carbon footprint, improve their sustainability credentials, and make sure they have a steady supply of the materials they need.
